Air-dry clay workshop with Yegane Mehrzad
Get to know our new artist in residence Yegane Mehrzad during an air-dry clay workshop! This is a women only event.
From November onwards, Yegane will host a series of craft-oriented gatherings for De Voorkamer community. During these sessions, we will be talking about hope, courage, and blessings we want to reclaim, nurture and protect.
These sessions will be held for women-identifying people only.
On 12 November, Yegane will host the first session of a two-part air-dry clay workshop.
We'll start by exploring symbols and images that we associate with hope and courage. Yegane will share some visual references to get us inspired before we start making our own clay charms. The process is open and intuitive, and Yegane will be there to guide you through the making.
The first session (12 November) will focus on making the charms, while the second session (date TBA) will be dedicated to painting and glazing them.
