What is Migrantour?

Walk, share, and discover Lombok through the stories, experiences, and perspectives of the people who shape the neighbourhood.

Lombok Without Walls is a 2-hour walking tour through one of Utrecht’s most diverse neighbourhoods. But this is not your typical city tour. Along the way, we explore Lombok’s many layers of migration, history, and community through personal stories and experiences.

The tour is co-created and guided by our Intercultural Companions — inspiring storytellers with first- or second-generation migration backgrounds. They bring their own perspectives and experiences to the tour, creating space for encounters that go beyond simply seeing the neighbourhood.

We invite you not only to listen, but also to share your own experiences, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversations with others along the way. You never know where a conversation might take you!

Please arrive at the starting point by 09:50, 10 minutes before the tour begins.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
