Migrantour Utrecht

Migrantour Utrecht is a civic learning initiative based at De Voorkamer and co-created by Utrecht residents with diverse migration backgrounds. Through guided walks and workshops, Migrantour invites participants to discover the city and its migrant heritage through the stories and perspectives of the people who live in it.

Rather than treating migration as something separate from the city, Migrantour explores how it has shaped, and continues to shape, everyday urban life. Each tour weaves together personal stories, local histories, and shared reflections on belonging, diversity, and living together. More than an informative city tour, Migrantour is an interactive experience that encourages dialogue and invites participants to contribute their own experiences, knowledge, and perspectives along the way.

Migrantour Utrecht offers a free guided walk on the first Saturday of every month, from 10:00 to 12:00. For upcoming tours and more information, please visit the Migrantour Utrecht website.
