Can I just walk in?

For open-access activities, yes. Some workshops, dinners or limited-capacity activities ask you to register first. The event page will tell you what applies.

Do I need to speak Dutch?

No. De Voorkamer is multilingual. Dutch, English and many other languages are used in different activities. You are welcome to learn, ask and translate together.

Are activities free?

Many activities are free. Some activities may ask for a small contribution or payment. We try to keep participation as accessible as possible.

Can I bring children?

It depends on the activity. Some activities are family-friendly, while others are designed for adults. If you are unsure, contact us before visiting.

Is the space accessible?

The main space is on the ground floor. If you have access needs, please contact us in advance so we can help you plan your visit.

Can I take photos?

Please ask before taking photos of other visitors. Some events may have specific photo agreements, especially when stories or personal experiences are shared.

What should I do if I feel uncomfortable?

Speak to a host, volunteer or team member. You can also contact us after the activity. We take safety, respect and care seriously.
