Crafting with Textile: Special Edition

Take part in the Walking With Pride and Power Project collaborative and transnational artwork that resists and renounces the persecution of queer and marginalized people globally.

Based on the knowledge that textiles are a form of storytelling, let’s collectively make an art piece (rag-rug) using a simple braiding technique to combine in traditional and radical ways with beautiful colors and maybe some text that embody your experience. All are invited to attach a written word, poetry or prose to their shape that reflects on the experience, the self or society.
